I think there is a mad rush behind Muti-Touch technology. May be companies should start looking out for other innovative things than doing a memcpy() of the same content to a different address.

Purpose Of Life

This one question would bug lot of people(At least Me!). What do we do with this life? Is there anything useful that can be done in here. Well, the answer for this question is no simple. One can always choose the kind of life that one may want to live but it needs a strong vision and responsibility to define life and to define life for others too. I mean choosing is lot different from defining. Choosing can be time, place and material dependent while definition is something which would define all three. I can still remember some one saying "Human beings were/are created to serve a purpose". Ah!. Serve a Purpose!Is that a definition?. Even if the above statement is true then Bangalore is a place for human beings with the Same #define SERVE_SOFTWARE. May be this would make GODs job simple and modular.
I think that no one else can define/choose his/her life than the person himself.

Innovation

I think this word "Innovation" is one of the most over used out gas words ever in recent times. Visit any tech website(Any company. Size does not matter at all)you can count a lot this particular word. Lots and lots of discussions do happen relating innovation and startups etc.
If you ask me, people really don't care about how innovative your product is. What might really sell is one god damn down to earth, simple solution which can make their lives better. But given the rate at which we INNOVATE:) i am really surprised that we do not see such products in large numbers.
At times i do get a feeling that we guys equipped with Stanford's, IIT's, IISc do often end up in complicating things where as the focus should have been to simplify things....

WeekEnd Dhrystone Fun

I was recently doing a bit of research on Dhrystone and its effectiveness. After this activity i really doubt if we are using THE benchmark tool at all. Dhrystone, might be useful for chip manufactures to establish a performance number for their integer core(ONLY that buddy!). May be tech leaders in this front might have to come up with different benchmark tool

Complaints

I was just reading through couple of blogs(Yeah. Dint have any better job). 30-40% of these blogs, in some way or the other had posts regarding traffic. May be we should stop worrying about this and move on to something else for a change.

Civilian Traffic Control

At times people would over do their job and would end up in 7th circle of hell(i really don't know if we have those many circles). A lady, possibly gotten pissed off, got out of her car and started regulating traffic in lavelle road at 3PM noon today. It started well until a cab driver drove to the front line. This guy was in a great hurry(For us..mortals!!!) and started abusing the lady who was trying to get some order there.
In never understood one damn thing in this Fuc*ed up city!. Why the hell do we have a bus stop immediately next to a signal?. isn't this kind of say, voluntarily introducing stupidity.??

Death

Death is one terrible thing. Day started with with a shock. One of my close mentors at Mistral had passed away. Call it karma or whatever. May be our mortal physicists should catch up and define things in here.

Parallel Universe and Pay Hike

Was reading something about this thing called parallel universe. The author was kind of trying to explain trigger and reaction adapted to this theory. It makes sense. So next time, if you work hard and you don't get hiked up in your company some other guy in some other parallel universe has snatched up your hike.

Travel

Went to my place in Madurai. The drive was terrible. My M800(yeah! I own one) got heated upto near comet temperatures. Sweltering!!!. It reminded me something else too. Long time back i had a geography guy in school who lectured about weathering and its effect on rocks. I remember him saying"Weathering is a process which would turn rocks to sand".

Mobile Handsets

Had been to a mobile handset shop a day before to get something for my girl!!!. After having gotten a real time update from the dealer about various handsets and their features i came to a conclusion that MOTO is the worst kind of a gadget. Costly sans features. I did not realize this since it has been some time since i stepped into a shop of this kind or did some research as to which one to go for. At least now i kind of got convinced that its time up for my RAZR.
Anyways, nothing would parallel my girls reaction when i presented it to her(By the way i finally opted for SAMSUNG).

God & Religion

I was just wondering about how this world would look like in case if both GOD and religion there by are cast out. Cant We survive?. Ok!. This is the first part. The second part is present tense and reality. ie we have both god and several religions at present. What are we doing with them. Is there any use at all??. This thought process kicked in after having witnessed certain things at signal stop in koramangala-inter ring road junction.

1. A lady had a child in her arms, begging around.
2. A really aged guy (must be some 80 types) begging around
3. Some people trying to seel some funny worthless stuff(basically begging again).
4. A handicapped guy begging.

The above list can further be extended with more actors, but the bottom line is lots are begging for food and life!!!. Why does it happen to people. I do not think a human being would beg(shying away his dignity) if he had had something else to do(which would fetch some money). i mean, these guys don't beg by choice but out of necessity!!!.
If there are some people around (ones who read my blog) who advocate for religion and GOD please explain if there is any logic in lamenting about god and religion when half of your country is in poverty!!!!.
I know that it needs some guts. But maybe having worshiped several gods for sometime there should be some accumulated.

Sibling Trouble

I think family is one mashed and terribly confused #define for trouble. Parents, these days have become more tolerant than the siblings. Brothers getting onto sisters affairs in the name of love!!!. F#@*. One would need tremendous globules of energy and patience to deal with even one such Neanderthal. Getting sick tired of such people. Either the parents should have some control over the guy or do something like that.

At least i feel that love and caring is something which is not bound by earthly terms like religion, ego, peer pressure and things like that. But still the world is full of such morons who would neither live in peace nor let others in the name of Love and devotion to family.
What really amazes me is this... The capacity to change colors. Its really amazing. You show different colors. At times the colors will not qualify the kind of words that one may speak. But its really true that colors do often resemble the mind.

I think it should be like "If you can do something and if its about your life go ahead and do it. If its someone else's stuff please let them do it. Such a life of stealing others time in this world is as equal to death. If you cannot keep out or stay away from others lives i think its time take hell head on".

Job and money

For the outside world IT is one of the most lucrative fields of employment. I think its getting out of proportions recently. As the year goes, it seems like people have begun to suit themselves to this industry. But the question is are they really interested in doing things here?. Having taken part in a recent recruitment drive gave me an opportunity to do some people sampling. Most of the candidates were interested in things like "Designation", "Gym Availability","Transport" and things like that. Not to mention the queries regarding compensation and salary structure. No one seemed to be bothered about the nature of work and several other things in that line. The salary figures quoted will infact drive a guy from Stanford/MIT crazy. If compensated as per the quote we can see hell lot of these guys doing space travels very soon. I think the engineering institutions should pitch in by providing a better environment where things can be collaborated. right from the start of their professional courses students should be interacting with professionals in this industry. Otherwise we will have a bunch of guys with good physique(Thanks to company Gym). Thats it. Nothing beyond that.

Understanding people!!!. This is one of the most tiring, complex thing i hope. At least my experience is that. It can(will) be deceptive. We generally don't think about the convergence of thoughts and words!!!. Its just guts that would help us most of the times.

Something Tech

After having spent about 1-2 years in USB driver development, this one peripheral still amazes me.I think its one of the most useful(read clean!) bus technology ever designed. Its just four wires that drive your imagination.

People Around

Whenever i get to read some article about woz (Steve Wozniak) i get this question. Is it possible for a human being to walk away from fame and money for a different cause?. This little guy has always amazed me with the kind of experiments that he has done with life.
Amidst people who claim that they bother about the general health of the whole world?, sacrifice for an altruistic cause and things like that, guys like Woz stand out.

Apparitions

I have gotten into a habit of roaming around the city(Bengaluru!) at ghostly times in my car. uh!. I still feel like getting tugged at the back by a cabbie, rammed in by a guy on bicycle, showdown with couple of pedestrians etc. Apparitions of course.
